I had an amazing time in Hawaii- it's paradise! My hotel was great with a gorgeous sea view and a bit of much needed luxury. I spent my days lazing on the beach and recovering from the last couple of months. The sun is so strong so I got through a lot of sunscreen and still I have some interesting burn lines!
I also did a day tour around the island and it was nice to see the 'real thing' and not just the tourist bits. Here we visited the Dole Pineapple Plantation, the northern surf beaches, and the waterfall in the rain forest amongst other things.
The evenings were spent watching the sunsets, sampling the local nightlife and food and browsing the many designer and gift shops. Perfect!
